Dynafit Hoji Pro

Just got my hands on the new Hoji Pro from Dynafit. This Limited addition boot will only be available this season in a 27.5 and 28.5 with full sizes next season. The boot balances the beef with the hike in a way I have not seen yet. The Hoji has a new wishbone Hike mode that allows for a full range of motion then engages into a very qualified descender. The boot has a very progressive flex that lets you drive the ski without the wall of no return. The 103.5 mm last works well for the flat wide feet but can seem rather voluminous for the skinny foot. I've gotten to put the boots through a few tours as well as a sled to hike trip and the boot performed flawlessly. For thous of us with the wide feet and want to drive a real ski the Hoji lives up to its name sake.

Graywolf

AKA Hardy the Party

We'll start off our reviews with our home on the road. The Graywolf 26BH is just that. We wanted a bumper pull that could keep us all contained but not out of room. This 26 ft, triple bunk holds all our stuff, plus, with ease. We opted to go with out a slide out to keep things simple and less moving parts. With three full seasons under our belt we have pulled close to 1700 round trip without issues. We pull with a 3/4 and full ton truck and recommend a stabilizing and sway system for stress free towing. The 1.5 ride height does make some the service road camping challenging and am currently looking into an axle swap that would give us some extra clearance. It has a 50 gal fresh water tank that has yet to run dry even in a week long off grid trip. The 31 gal black water tank can fill up quick if your not paying attention so keep en eye on that. All in all the finish work and easy of use make the Graywolf an amazing addition to our adventures. Pull up, easy connect and disconnect and start enjoying your slice of nature.
